This is just as good as his Digital Camcorder book - which is very good indeed. They work well together, & they're cheap enough that you could afford both.

He uses a variety of editing software as illustration, so it's not aimed at any one of them. In doing this, he makes it much easier for you to work out for yourself what to do.
