I was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. My previous impression of Darwyn Cooke's writing was that it can be a bit thin with not much depth but Kryptonite is truly a multi-layered story. Tim Sale's artwork has been an acquired taste for me, but the stuff he has produced for the Heroes TV series has made me look at itin a new light & I can now see the real power & dramain his work.
Would definitely recommend this story to those who enjoy their DC Comicsin "retro" flavour.
