A Superior Vampire Romance for Teens - By: E. Bulmer, 21 Dec 2008
I have to agrees with everyone else's comments on this page, I first read these books when I was about 13 & I LOVED them. They totally draw you into their world. There is a poemin one of the books that I can still recite off by heart all these years later which I often write when asked what my favourite poem or quote is - very sad I know! I actually searched for them on here having read the Twilight series & again have to say I agree with what others have said, Bella has to be one of the wettest, most boring, most difficult to empathise with characters I have ever come across & I read A LOT. After reading the Meyer books I felt the need to return & reread the far superior Nightworld series. However, I have to wonder if maybe the Nightworld series was the inspiration for Meyer's books as there are a few parallels particularly with 'Secret Vampire'. I guess what I am trying to say is that I would definately recommend these books.
One of my favourites! - By: Sakura, 16 Dec 2008
I'm like most of the other reviewers on here. I am 22 & started reading these books when I was about 13/14.
I was digging through my old books & came across these & re-read themin a week. This book is one of my favourites as Mary Lynette & Ash are one of my favourite couples, two incredibly strong characters...and we all love a bad boy with a soft side!
I just wish LJsmith would hurry up & release the final installment. We have literally been waiting 10 years since the last book was released & that makes me feel ancient & too old to be reading these teen books still! Only thing is, the book gets pushed back year after year, so it may never happen.
Go read them now & maybe you'll be lucky enough to have the final book released on time for you.

A great young girl's story - By: Thea Lethe, 11 Nov 2008
This is the first 3 books of the nine that are currentlyt avaliable, & are the best supernatural romance i've ever read, of which i've read over & over again. I first read it myself 9 years ago, with Secret Vampire & Daughters of Darkness, & was hooked from then on. There is a tenth title, but this hasn't been released yet, since the author has had problems. Readin any order, they are stand alone. This trilogy has the following: 1.Secret Vampire: Poppy is dying, & when her best friend James finds out, he gives her the promise of the Nightworld to save her. Find out her decision & what happens...
2. Daughters of Darkness: Mary Lanette gets more then a mystery when her closest neighbor has a visit form her three beatuiful nieces Rowan, Krestel & Jade, but when the body of their aunt disappears, & their enticing brother Ash comes to take them back, Mary Lanette finds herselfin the world of Nightworld, & all the power it can give her...
3. Spellbinder/Enchantress: Blaise & Thea are cousins & as different as dark & night. Blaise likes to play with guys, but when Thea meets Eric, they suddenly become rivalsin love & magic, & Thea risks more then a few broken rules to save him...
