Not a favourite, even with my young boys - By: P. Maley, 02 Jan 2009
Uninteresting story, poor rhymes, no humour. First time I read it, my boy thought that the "underpants"in the title were funny, but he has never since chosen this book & we all much prefer anything that Julia Donaldson has ever done. She can churn out better stuff than thisin her sleep.
Just as Good as Dinosaurs Love Underpants - By: Mrs. K. A. Wheatley, 30 Dec 2008
We got this for my two year old son based on the fact that he loved Dinosaurs Love Underpants. He feels the same way about this one, & what's not to love?
The illustrations are bold, colourful & funny. There are lots of little jokes for older readers & adults which means it has more to offer than the usual run of the mill picture books.
The text is simple, silly & memorable & the aliens are cute & non threatening.
My son particularly likes the wide range of pants illustrated & uses the end pages to allocate pants to each member of our family. It never fails to make him laugh.
An excellent book with a lovely, tonguein cheek sense of humour.
Aliens Love Underpants - By: Mrs. L. O'neill, 30 Dec 2008
I bought this book for my 3 year old, who loves his bed time stories, & we both think it is fab. He laughs away at the aliens playingin the underpants, & loves the part where we both say very animatedly......OOOOOHHHH UNDERPANTS. An excellent book which I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to my friends........for their kids of course!!
fantastic! - By: E. JOHN, 15 Dec 2008
I work with autistic children, & this book is such a hit! the short sentences are easy to follow, the rhythm is mesmerizing & wonderfully motivating. I get so much from the kids when I read this book to them, they get so motivated it is fantastic! Sometimes we get a drum & bang along to the beat.
Alien alert! - By: G. Freeman, 30 Nov 2008
My little boy got given this book for CHristmas last year & loves it so much that I could probably quote it all the way through, I've read it so often. Okay, there's not a strong story but what do you expect for a cartoon book for pre-schoolers? The rhymes are cute & the pictures are great - we love it, & so do all the kids at nursery!
