This is the first time Paul meets Steve, & she remains true to the character throughout the series. As Paul is a batchelor at the start of this story it sets up the detective partnership for all the rest.An ingenious plot, but with a few errorsin time & distance, however these hardly matter. & the story is very enjoyable.
