no good.
Who would have thought that faffin' about with some expensive coloured cards was not a completely fool-proof way of predicting the future.
Maybe it was my chakras - they need a good cleansing I dare say.

I was hoping Doreen Virtue would do some Ascended Master oracle cards so I bought these as soon as they were released & haven't stopped using them since! I use quite a few decks but these are the ones I keep coming back to time & time again. The artwork is stunning with high vibration colours, these cards always have a good vibe about them. They contain a few Goddesses & female ascended masters so they cover a few areas.
They are perfect for when you need quick guidance by pulling a card, I use these like this allot but I find them even better for daily guidance. I choose a card for the day & leave it out, they are more accurate than many daily oracle cards including Doreen's own deckin my opinion.

the ascended masters box is very eye catchingin purples & golds. on receipt of them i was looking forward to opening them. i have many doreen virtue cards & i really love using them.
on opening the cards i was a little disappointed, mainly because the cards are so drabin colour. dont get me wrong, the artwork on the cards are good but the cards are mainly browns, purples, greens & blues & i certainly dont feel uplifted at all when i use these cards. the cards are gold edged, which makes them slightly more appealing, but for some reason i just dont connect with them.
i use these cards if i am doing a reading & i want some additional guidance but i would recommend that if any one is purchasing the doreen virtue cards for the first time, to go for messages from your angels, healing with the fairies or magical mermaids & dolphins. they are alot more appealing.

Thomas, 23 Aug 2007 I have to agree with the other reviewsin that the art work on these cards is attractive & how they have been produced is eye catching. As far as accurate would go.......I'd have to disagree. The answers can be completely irrelevant to your question,in which case someone would say "well its because its answering a completely different & deeper need you have" - so basically that means the question you have asked is considered to be of no importance to the "ascended masters" despite the fact it is very important to you. The answers of course are very random. Its as random as throwing dice...chances are you wont get the number you want at the casino crap table or anywhere else. I wouldnt recommend these types of cards to people who have serious issuesin their lives & are needing serious answers or even people who just have issues really. If you are a collector however, they are a nice addition to any set. I have other sets of cards by Doreen Virtue, but these just dont hit the mark as far as accuracy goes...bit difficult to sit & think....oh well, if the ascended masters dont think my question is important then it mustn't be...because everyones questions are important to them & deserve answersin some way. OK.....waiting for the slating.....oh..that rhymes!
Ascended Master cards - By: Joan De Arc, 13 May 2007 These cards are stunningly beautiful & have a gold edging around the card which makes them even more special. I already previously own 3 packs of Doreen Virtue cards but these are by far my favourite. When i first opened the pack & absorbed the energy of the cards slowly & intentionally, i felt a bond forming with some of the characters. Some of the faces on the cards even look like some of my friends.
These cards are very powerful to me & whenever i take the lid of the box i can feel a very strong energy about the cards which feels like the masters have jumped out of the box & are then standingin the room that i amin ready to download valuable information to me.
Obviously different cards touch different people so always go with your instincts.
