A great set of cards... - By: Mandy, 04 Jun 2008
If you're *not* a newbie to oracle cards then these are great cards! I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with these though as they aren't really appropriate for beginners like me, but for those with more experience these are great!

if you adore the doreen virtue cards like myself, you will so want these cards to be part of your collection. the box itself is inviting with a beautiful angel on the front as if she is climbing the steps to heaven.
the cards inside are just as tasteful with gold edges & the artwork on some of the cards are astounding.
i will tell you now the main reason why i bought these cards apart from the fact that i adore them anyway.
last week my young daughter & i cycled to a 'new age shop'in the countryside about 4 miles away from our home. whilst talking to the owner of the shop,(and i wasin there a good hour) my mind was wandering thinking about our journey home. i was worrying mainly about my daughter (who is only seven but a very confident cyclist) getting home safely as the roads were very winding & there isnt always a path which my daughter can cycle on.
i make regular visits to this shop & i know the lady has alot of the doreen virtue cards under her counter for personal use. before i left i asked to look at the oracle cards i had not yet purchased. one of them being saints & angels!
i opened the saints & angels box, took out the cards & began to look at themin delight. i then began shuffling the cards, stopped & turned over the first card, which to my greatest surprise & even shock! was SAFE TRAVEL - ST CHRISTOPHER !!!

Peaceful ...... - By: Yorky, 14 Jun 2007
Standard size cards with a hard outer box, includes a paper booklet guide detailing the meaning of each card. I find these lovely illustrated cards to be quite upliftingin both their design & meaning. It's not one that I choose to usein readings, I consider these oracle cards more suitable for personal use. The colours are soft & visually they have a sense of peace & calm. I use them as a quick guide for the day by selecting one card at random.

Beautiful way of accessing 'higher consciousness' - By: N. D. Highmore Sims, 12 Sep 2006
These cards are a beautiful way to communicate with 'higher consciousness' (or angels, 'god', your higher self, your unconscious, however you view it). I have come to use them almost daily as an inspiring way to tap into 'inner wisdom' or guidance for both mundane & important situations, & they never fail to uplift & reassure - sometimes surprisingly. The artwork is evocative & perfectly suited to the message, & they are also a lovely introduction to well-known saints & 'higher realms'. There is (as the title suggests) a bias towards christianity, & the catholic faithin particular, so I'm not sure their claim to be 'non-denominational' is entirely founded, but there are just as many generally inspirational cards as saint cards, & the booklet that accompanies them offers interpretations that apply to any faith (as well as a short biography of the saint where applicable).
Personally I have no particular faith, but would class myself as 'spiritual' - & these work very well for me. For those wanting something equally uplifting & truly non-denominational, I would suggest Cheryl Richardson's Grace cards (www.cheryrichardson.com); I use both setsin combination. The Saints & Angels cards are a lovely gift, whether for yourself or another.
