I know some people will not make sense of this book, but they willin time. This is because, as the book says, some minds are not ready for it yet, butin time all minds will be. I can appreciate how frustrating & disappointing this must be at this time but how comforting must it be that we "all" will be readyin time. It took a long, long time to read this book myself & cannot begin to describe the joy & inner peace I feel. You really need to look beyond what you see as a "body" to begin grasping the truth. I have for many years now felt I've known these principles somehow & feel I've been led to reading this book. I am ready to take on the forgiveness lessons, as difficult as these will be at times, for I know I am ready to return to my true Home. I've somehow always known that the answer to all fear, hate, negativity, etc...in the world is forgiveness. It is indeed THAT simple.
Immaculate and life changing - By: , 08 Jan 2006 A Coursein Miracles has changed my life forever. It is beautiful Sense Itself. It is true that it is involved & not everyone may be ready for it just now. We will be led to read whatever we need now.
This book teaches that our willingness to learn is all we need. It took me years to finish the text, but it soon began to fall into place. Persevere beyond the first few pages which lay out all the principles. The book is so involved because it addresses the many complexities of our self-defeating ego mindin order to enable us to see the Truth, which is SIMPLE.
Reading 'An Introduction to A Coursein Miracles' will give you a good footing to begin on this mind-expanding, Heaven-revealing course.

The Teacher Who speaks through the book is infinititely patient & is ready for our learning challenges even as we encounter them. Read it now if you can, or perhaps try again at a later date. It teaches that we learn of our abundance by giving, & of our perfection by forgiving because this reflects the way of Truth which we seek. Here are some quotes on our part as learners of the course:

A Course in Miracles - Truly Miraculous - By: , 26 Jun 2005 I have just read a previous reader's review on this book & as a student feel it necessary to explain what A Coursein Miracles is about.
This book is indeed a "Course" & must be approachedin the same way one would approach the study of the Buddhist Scriptures or the Gita - as a lifetime study on the Path to Enlightenment. Just reading the book may indeed be confusing but so is The Tao Te Ching to the uninitiated. Do not attempt to study this book alone as just a book but find a Spiritual Master to help you with it & A Coursein Miracles will help you on your Journey. If by merely reading it you find it difficult & incomprehensible then your Mind is not ready for it & you must ask your Soul to come forth & shine through & manifest your inner teacher to help you with it.
A Coursein Miracles is indeed the true word of Jesus Christ & must be revered as such.
It is everything its title suggests "A Coursein Miracles".

I bought this book after hearing SO so much about it. However, tellingly, I never heard anyone clearly state what they got out of it. Now I know why. As soon as I started reading, I felt uncomfortable. It's nonsense! You could spend DECADES, & I'm not joking, trying to understand & analyse this book. This is because it is UNINTELLIGIBLE.
It is complete nonsense. In fact, it could even have been purposely designed as a waste of everyone's time. I think that people namecheck it because they arein awe of it because they don't understand it.
I DO understand when my time is being wasted - & I also can see through charlatans. I have read many many spiritual books which have helped me enormously - Louise Hay is great, for example.
But this book! Mouldy, verbose, unintelligible nonsense! I have always heldin contempt those who prey on lesser minds by not explaining simple conceptsin a simple way, those who use long, convoluted explanations. They enjoy seeing others puzzle over things they understand. The truly intelligent explain thingsin a way anyone can understand - this book does not.
There are no miracles here, only difficulty & puzzlement. Save your precious time & money for something else written by somebody who REALLY cares about your spiritual progress.
