Really useful! - By: bingbong, 29 Nov 2008
I work as a therapist with recovering addicts & I use this all the time, it is expensive but will be used over & over. It comes with instructions for how to use each excersise & discussion topics, but you can also use your own ideas. Really good & definately something different.

Within my vast collection of books I have bought over the years to improve my sessions with clients this book is one I have used again & again it is so simple & yet so very effective I would highly recommend this book to anyone working with clientsin a one to one session or group cannot praise it enough.
An excellent and useful book - By: , 09 Mar 2002
This book is an excellent & useful book as it not only combines brilliant ideas & excercises, but also the means to use these tools. I have been able to use the excercises with clients & would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone.
There are many different excercises within this book that cover different areas & it can be used with a multitude of different client groups. It is interesting & information giving & one that clients do not mind using.
This book also is easy to use & shows examples which make sure that you are using the excercises properly.
A useful resource for working with children and adults alike - By: , 05 Apr 2001
I work as a mentor & counsellor with both children & adults, & have found this book to be an invaluable resource for usein both lines of work. It gives useful materials that can be photocopied, which enable the user to work deeper on emotions they have been either previously un aware of, or who need helpin dealing with their emotions per se. This provides a safe means of enabling individuals, or groups, to explore their emotions.....and I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone workingin any person centred psychology, counselling, teaching or mentoring.
