Excellent case study of compiler implementation - By: , 13 Mar 2002
This book offers an excellent window into the world of compiler design. The book itself is a literate program, similar to TeX, & as such demonstrates each & every part of the program, from memory management to the code generator generator, lburg. There is not a lotin the way of a simple introduction to compilers, you are expected to know more-or-less what goes into a compiler. An excellent companion to a more theoretical textbook such as 'Compilers: Principles, Techniques & Tools' by Aho, Sethi & Ullman.
