A Must Have - By: Ray Morgan, 17 Sep 2006
I think this book is brilliant. It tells it how it is, with humour, &in a language that is plain & clear. No "techno-babble".The outstanding thing for me was it offers options & shows more than one solution to each problem. This is clearly written by a man with a great understanding of computing problems & safe guards that a PC user has to face today. This book should be putin with every new computer that's sold.
Good work Andy.
Protect your computer - By: IAN SHEPHARD, 28 Mar 2006
If, like all responsible computer users, you are concerned about nasties like viruses, spyware & spam - then this book is essential reading. Not only does Andy Walker describe all varieties of these evils but he does soin a clear & easily understood way with explanations about why the anti-social amongst us perpetrate them. Andy then gives us some answers - & most of these are either freely available or can be obtained at minimal cost. Follow Andy's advice & make your computer secure - & don't be put off by the title - this book is designed for beginners but I bet there are many professionals out there who have computers that are less secure than mine now is after following Andy's advice.

For some-one like me, who is reasonably computer literate but by no means an expert, this book is like a breath of fresh air. It is writtenin language that even I can understand & the author conveys his informationin such a way that anyone can carry out the projects needed to protect his PC. Devoid of confusing computerese it leads one from page to page effortlessly. Well done Andy.
