"Everything is not what it seems" - By: Marinos Tsimaris, 13 May 2006
This trilogy goes up there with the best & classic.

It follows the story after the "Dragons of Summer Flame" & if you want to find out what happends next you should buy it. Not only for that but also its plot is amazing & certenly one of the best i have read. Everything is not what it seems & while the truth unravels slowly as you read the books your appetite for more increases & you find yourself reading themin no time.

I read all threein the summer of 2005 & since then i have been reccomenting it to friends. It gave me a renewed interestin the world of DragonLance as many other DragonLance out there are far infirior.

My advice is, go & get the trilogy now.

One thing i didnt like is Dalamar getting his magic back. For what he has done he should not. You turned a new chapter for Krynn, i say its time for Dalamar to step off the scene somehow.
Dragonlance War of Souls Trilogy - By: S. P. Ashton, 11 Apr 2005
After years of cold turkey, along comes another dragonlance trilogy. Personally I believe the previous Chronicles & Legends are the best fantasy books ever written bar none, The Ring Books included. So it was with great anticipation I began to read the latest saga.

The books stand very well on their own & as an extra trilogy give you something more but are not a patch on the originals.

However, there are too many references to other books to allow any reader to fully absorb what is happening. Why does Palin have narled fingers, Why is Tas still running around? it becomes so commonplace as to become annoying.

If you put that one criticism aside though, the story itself is very entertaining & quite engrossing. This is a must for any Dragonlance fan but for new readers I would reccommend they read the previous trilogies first.

Would be 5 stars but it would have to be exceptional to be as good as Chronicles & Legends.

well worth the read - By: , 11 Oct 2004
well what can i say, having not read any of the earlier dragonlance books i thought this trilogy was an excellent read.
the fact that it is set years after the previous books did'nt seem to drop you into the unknown, some of the characters from previous novels werein there but it did'nt dwell on the past with them. i now can't wait to read the earlier novels.
war of souls - By: A M Bastiaen, 05 Feb 2004
This book has a lot of discriptive battle scenes & is very imaginitive & keeps you wanting to read on & on. It was a hard book to put down, I particularly liked all the dragons & the other characters kept me engrossed. What a magical read!
