This is a very useful quick-reference grammar book when you want to look up something for the basic rules. It's neat & concise & clearly laid out. It's by no means comprehensive but provides good guidance up to A Level. I've found it useful both as a student & more recently as a tutor for giving good basic ground rules.

I have two copies of this book which I use all the time. I was given the first as a present & then bought myself another copy so that I could keep the other at work. I have used it continuously & have always been able to find what I am looking forin it.The indexing system allows you to find the information you need quickly. It is not always easy to understand at first glance but with a little perseverance you can get therein the end. Highly recommended.
