The book is hilarious like all the others. But i also have to say the delivery was fantastic & i recieved it the day after i had ordered it, even without getting express delivery. Thank you amazon!
Hmmm... - By: Nicole M, 04 Aug 2008
I am a long time fan of Georgia Nicolson & have just read the newest installment. It might be just me growing out of the series (which I doubt because these books seem to be aimed at my age group) but I really felt as though nothing really happenedin the book. Nothingin it grabbed my attention or pulled mein & i think that perhaps Louise Rennison is getting a tad lazy because of the series' growing popularity.

Watch out, mates! Georgia Nicolson has returned, & she definitely hasn't learned from her past mistakes.
Aside from trying to survivein the woods with all the creatures & (apparently) pigs roaming around, Georgia just got herselfin a pickle when Dave the Laugh/Tart ended up kissing her when she fell. What makes it even worse, besides the fact that Dave has a girlfriend, is that Georgia just so happened to have recently become the girlfriend of the Italian Stallion.
It's a good thing that Massimo is miles away, because he would have gone bonkers if he found out what had happened. It's another thing that he hasn't called ever since he left.
Sure, she is stuck with two potential boyfriends, but what else is knew? Georgia must choose between the two before she ends up all by herself.
Aside from her boy troubles, her Mutti & Vati are continuing to fight & it's getting even worse, especially when Vati is changing his appearance into something no one should ever have to lay their eyes on. And before going back to Stalag 14, Georgia must have the best time ever with her mates, hopefully using most of her time not thinking about who she needs to choose between.
Who knew someone like Georgia could get into even more trouble? Wait, we all did!
The previous novelsin the series have been absolutely hilarious, & STOP IN THE NAME OF PANTS! is no exception. The laughs keep on comingin this installment, & Georgia is crazier than ever. A series that you could never get tired of, it should come with a caution note on it: Warning, may cause hysterical laughter & odd looks from passerby when readin public!

Getting old - By: R. Spencer, 20 Jul 2008
After reading the 9th of this series I am utterly dissappointed. Having read the diaries from the beggining, to find out the ending, I am tied to reading yet another of these books which, for better words, have become tiresome. Louise Renninson is getting lazy. This book is far from one of her best & personally, I wish she'd just put Dave & Georgia together & be done with it. Turn her talents to another series - to up & maintain her, what must be declining, fan base. A dull read compared to her others, I may have to consider leaving the series unfinshed as I am rappidly losing patience.
Stop in the name of PANTS! - By: Idealism, 12 Jul 2008
Well, where to begin? A fantastic book! In my opinion this one is much funnier & a better page turner than the last book (Luuuurve is a many trousered thing...). There is a constant action going through the background of this book, which is great, especially as I thought the books had gone downhill since the 3rd book. There are lots of exciting things happeningin this book. Also I love the cover! Futhermore the book is alot thicker than the restin the series.
A must buy for all 11-15 year olds!
