Me & my friend was late for class nd we really needed a reading book for registration or we will get detension. So me nd my m8 ran 2 da libary 2 choose a book. He loves darren shan books so he got 1, i grabbed a random book by darren shan 2, it was called "Cirque du freak". I fought the title was lame but when I read da book, i was astonished! Now I'm buying the saga of Darren Shan after reading 1 book.. I think that proves how good his books are. U will keep reading, if ur gonna stop on one page- u will jus carry on reading without realising. His books will change ur life forever.

The storyline is just incredible & you soon get to love the characters & feel sympathetic for them when they die. A brilliant buy!
The saga of Darren Shan - By: Alex, 04 Feb 2008 I began reading the saga of darren shan when I was approximately 14 years old, by chance picking up the first book of the seriesin my school library. I am now 17 & these series of books have changed the way I look at childrens literature. The style & tempo of the books are deep, meaningful, reflective & at times extremely emotional. They tackle decisions & choices that would be impossible to make & really get the readers thinking & involvedin the books. You will instantly be pulled into the life of the teenage boy & empathise with his life, I guarantee you will be unable to put any of the books down without reading as much as humanly possible. The term "unputdownable" has been bounded about a lot recently but these series of books truely are. They include a type of incredible fast paced tempo complete with humour & lovable characters which I have never come across before. Although classed as childrens books I assure you both parents have read them & enjoyed them thoroughly. I would certainly recomend each & every single book of the series to anyone with even a mild intrestin horror. Pick the set up today, you will not regret it.
